| Arranges and directs funeral services for Bonney-Watson families. Position is based out of SeaTac, WA. No relocation available. |
Duties: |
| Coordinates transfer of human remains to mortuary for preparation. Interviews family or other authorized person to arrange details such as preparation of obituary notice, selection of urn or casket, determination of location and time of cremation or burial, selection of Pallbearers, procurement of official for religious rites, and transporttion, as needed. Plans placement of casket in visitation room and/or chapel and ajusts lights, fixtures and floral displays. Directs Pallbearers in their duties; leads funeral procession to church or burial site; prepares human remains for interment or directs preparations and shipment of body for out of state burial. |
Qualifications: |
Two-year course of study at an accredited college, two year aprenticeship period under supervision of a licensed funeral director. Successful completion of extensive examination for licensesure by the State of Washington.
Embalming licensure is a plus.
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly and standing for long periods without relief. Must show capability to adapt to change and adopt our prescribed methods of serving our client families.
Must possess the highest degree of tact and sensitivity and have indisputable integrity and possess a strong work ethic. |
