Skills Inc. is an Aerospace Finishing and Manufacturing company. Our Auburn North facility is currently seeking a Finish Inspector on Graveyard Shift. SUMMARY Inspect product to determine conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, customer and quality system requirements Utilize measuring equipment, meters, and related equipment to perform part inspections Documents inspection results by completing reports, logs, and electronic forms Review processing documents and work orders for compliance to and fulfillment of customer, part, and quality system requirements Functional understanding of AS9100 and NADCAP quality and process control systems. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent 2 (two) years of aerospace inspection experience Basic computer literacy in Windows environment and basic literacy in MS Office Ability to read work instructions and procedures in English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English Experienced in reading aerospace specifications, blueprints, and customer purchase orders Ability to detect potential deficiencies with regards to aerospace specifications Knowledge of and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment Knowledge of and ability to use basic measuring equipment to inspect parts Excellent visual acuity required including close vision Excellent communication and people skills to advise employees of quality requirements Ability to move around the shop as needed to inspect work as required Ability to work in indoor production environment with occasional exposure to chemical smells PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position involves an environment of high humidity and working with solvents. Personal Protective equipment (PPE) requirements strictly enforced.
