Description: |
| Keep public areas of grounds and hotel clean, take guest’s baggage to and from parking lot/rooms, assist front desk clerks in various guest service responsibilities, receive orders and stock merchandise for hotel, restaurant and gift shop |
Duties: |
•Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards.
•Clean public restrooms and hallways on prescribed schedule.
•Empty garbage from lobby and restrooms in accordance with NPS procedures.
•Dust lobby furniture, lamps and woodwork.
•Pick up litter in public areas of hotel, also outside within 150 feet.
•Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
•Check and empty all trash receptacles in and around hotel, gift shop and grounds, pick up litter/garbage during the day, particularly dropped ice, beverages, food product, wrappers and containers.
•Clean windows as needed and/or on a daily basis.
•Assist front desk staff in daily duties as needed or directed.
•Assist guests with baggage
•Receive and stock kitchen, hotel and gift shop orders
•Performs such other related duties as directed or required.

Qualifications: |
Similar experience preferred.
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines.
Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Some walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Must be able to tolerate and work in cold weather. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must live in local community or in park.
