Duties: |
Provide customer assistance as necessary and directed. Receive payment, make change accurately and obtain credit authorization as necessary for retail transactions. Maintain a specific area in the gift shop as assigned by the Senior Lead Clerk. Order, restock and maintain displays in this area. Assist with cleaning, organizing and stocking retail shop, setting displays, inventories and requisitions. Receive and verify quantities of merchandise, reporting all discrepancies to the Senior Lead Clerk. Report to the Senior Lead Clerk all fast selling items and items not in stock requested by customers. Performs such other related duties as my be required or directed. |
Qualifications: |
ust be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Some walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina and agility. Exposure to wet floors. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must live in local community or in park. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life. |
